About JTAC-K9

JTAC K9 is a Veteran-owned and family-run tailor which specialises in tactical K9 equipment, started by Jay Eden, his initial interest for sewing was from GCSE textiles in school. This interest carried over when he joined the Army in 2007 modifying the issued military kit to make it more usable and practical.

Owning 2 German Shepherds both which would wear through high street collars quickly, he decided to make his own collars from Mil-Spec materials, after a short period it was obvious that these were so much more hard-wearing, he then decided to sell them to family and friends. After recieving great feedback and with some encouragement, he decided he was going to start selling them to the public.

Before doing this he sent them out to several independent dog handlers to make sure they met their requirements. After a period of extensive testing, he received more great feedback and was advised he should pursue this further.

Now our equipment is used by Military, Police Working and Sport dog handlers around the world, as well as pet owners looking for something a cut above the rest.
